WashCard Site Management Controller (SMC)

At the heart of every WashCard System is the SMC that stores all of the customer data and credit card processing functionality. By sending the transaction and account information via the Internet to secure servers on the web, all information is readily accessible by wash owners and customers alike. The SMC is a wall-mounted enclosure designed for use in the harsh environment of an equipment room. It has an optional easy to use touch- screen interface, and integrates the Site Controller to save wall-space.

Optional Standalone Site Controller (for Carwash Locations)

Generally built into the SMC in the equipment room, this standalone version of the device ties all of the bays and vacuums together by a series of home runs or daisy-chained network runs. Using a 22 gauge 4-wire twisted pair shielded cable, only a single run is needed for each device to complete the ‘bay network’. The Site Controller is then connected to the back-office server via crossover cable. Operators will use this if their SMC is located in an office that is not close to the equipment room.
